This flyer was made to promote Polynesian dance classes that are soon to be held at Hilo Hattie of Festival Bay in Orlando. Lately I have been leaning towards monotone and duotone designs, but I decided that I would change all that when I realized how wonderful it could be with lots of color, color, color!

You can still see a bit of my mono/duotone favoritism in this layout--I wanted to go wild, but not crazy *0_o. I stuck to my "guns" by keeping a simple scheme of three basic colors: red, black and yellow.

When I found out that this flyer was to be presented in Hilo Hattie, on a table with other flyers, my immediate goal was to make a flyer stand out so much that you would be able to recognize it across the store. I hope I accomplished this goal of mine. It was quite refreshing to use such vibrant colors in this piece.
