Fictional Banner Ad - the RC Shark
Comments:

This banner ad was done for a class project. My instructor encouraged us to use humor so I used all the humor that was in me for this project (which also included another ad of an existing product, but I will not include it in this site for copyright reasons).

The banner was the basis of my designs for the interface and logo used for this fictional company. Since we were to use humor, I wanted to create a toy that would just be so outrageous that people might buy it.

::story board::
1. The first thing you see is the shark toy itself swimming along the ocean floor.
2. Then, if you look closely, you can see a "signal wave" coming out of the shark's fin which orders it to surface.
3. The infamous shark fin is visible to the public. A person at the beach discovers the fin and yells, "Shark!!" The swimmer then gets away and runs past another person. I show the feet, because it acts as a transition from the scared swimmer to the shark operator.
4. You then see the operator's feet. The view goes from the feet to his face. Then, the view goes to a close up to his lips just as he smiles in humor to the man's panic.
5. Finally, the ad finished with a little campaign slogan and the name of the toy company coming through a shape of the shark.
